First, the mechanism of electrolytic demulsification:

The hydroxyl radicals and OH are extremely oxidizing during electrolysis. During electrolytic demulsification, the pH value should be adjusted. Under acidic conditions, limiting the appropriate concentration can make the COD removal rate> 98%.
