At present, domestic noise reduction technologies include the following:
I. Resistive muffler: Use sound-absorbing materials for sound attenuation. Types can be divided into tube type, sheet type, honeycomb type, baffle type, labyrinth type, and sound flow type. The muffler has a better effect on high and intermediate frequency mufflers, and a lower effect on low frequency noise. The main disadvantage is that under high temperature and water vapor conditions, the acidifier produces corrosive effects on the muffler, resulting in a shortened muffler life; It produces carbon deposits and affects the use effect.
Therefore, it is not suitable for automobile noise reduction.
Second, the resistance muffler: the use of sudden changes in the flow cross-section or bypass resonance cavity, in the reflection or interference of sound waves to mute. The muffler is better for low-frequency muffler, and because of the narrow muffler frequency band, the muffler effect is poor for high-middle frequency. Suitable for high-speed, high-temperature, pulsating airflow.
Therefore, for car muffler, due to installation and maintenance requirements, the frequency band requirements are relatively wide, this type of muffler is not applicable.
3. Impedance compound muffler: It is made of resistive and resistive compound, which makes it have a large amount of noise and wide channel. However, due to the existence of sound absorbing materials, the service life will also be affected under the conditions of high temperature, high speed and water vapor erosion.
In order to overcome the above-mentioned shortcomings, our company developed a combination of micro-perforation and baffle plate to develop a muffler for cars.
The characteristics are: 1. It can work under the conditions of high temperature, high speed, pulse airflow, and water vapor erosion, and has a long service life.
2. Muffler frequency bandwidth, suitable for high, medium and low frequency noise muffler, muffler volume △ L> 25 ～ 30dB (A)
3. Good aerodynamics, does not affect the normal output of the engine.
